Twitter is visiting its problems on its users, and relationships are suffering. Constant, instant communication has now been replaced by the tiresome delays of email and IM. Friends are being forced to use their cellphones to text each other, without avatars.
Now, thanks to a tweet by @Jackassleters, we’ve discovered that democracy is falling as well.

This is an important man of politics whose words we’ve been anxiously awaiting. His PR people have done a wonderful job of tweeting about his greatness, popularity and compassion. The Day Of Mike Bloomberg Tweeting His Own Tweets (DOMBTHOT) was set to be an event of historical importance. He’s running for re-election, and those tweets on August 9 were going to help all New Yorkers, and Americans everywhere, to understand fully why Mike is such a wonderful and likeable guy, and why all of us, if we’re not already in New York, should move there now now so we can vote for him.
Obviously, the people in charge of the recent virus, and current DOS attack are involved in the conspiracy to change life in the United States forever. The Hudson River accident was just one more piece in their plot to keep Mike from sharing his innermost thoughts and dreams. And for that, all of America suffers.
